Who We Are

Jesus Generation Ministries (JGM) is A Bible-based Ministry preaching Christ crucified to the World with the Power of the Holy Spirit, Going from Nation to Nation, Preaching the Gospel of Peace, Purity and Power, Winning, Discipling, Equipping and Mobilizing, every soul for World Mission.

It is a non-denominational and non-profit organization ready to cooperate with other Christian organizations that are Bible-based and Mission focused.The General Headquarters is presently situated at Plot 12/13 Ayetoro Street, Olopomewa, Eleyele Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria West Africa.

It all began with a vision God gave to the founder, Pastor Johnson Olumuyiwa Oluniyi-Ajulo in 1978 while he was on a mission field in Oyo State, Nigeria West Africa. The Lord told him he will yet leave where he was to go and do another work for Him elsewhere.

Later in 1979 he sought God to know what the purpose of the new work is all about. Then God revealed to him the vision that gave the purpose of the Ministry. He saw himself on a stinking dunghill with two people beside him labouring in pulling out bones from the dunghill and transforming them to human beings.

Then he was given the motto of the Ministry which serves as its watchword “…TO MAKE READY A PEOPLE PREPARED FOR THE LORD” Luke 1:17. It is on this motto the purpose of our existence was based.

However, the work did not start until Monday 4th January 1982 when the General Superintendent as the founding Pastor started the Bible study at his residence in Idi Obi Eleyele Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria. From there the work has grown to several parts of the country and outside Nigeria.

Planting churches in none or less evangelized areas and ministering to the youths and students, transforming them into God’s vessels of honor; producing Christian education and training materials for the Body of Christ- To make ready from every culture a people prepared for the Lord’s use and His return"

Our Vision

Our Missionary Strategy

Our Message Focus

While we preach all the truth of the Scriptures yet, the area of emphasis God has given to the Set-man is in the area of Peace, Purity and Power. Our message therefore is:

1. To focus on the sinner’s salvation which brings about peace with God;
2. To focus on discipleship of the converted souls towards Christ-like life of purity and practice of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Also,
3. To focus on preaching and ministering the baptism of the Holy Ghost and power by which one can be serviceable to the Lord.

Areas of Service to the Body of Christ - Our Body Ministries

Jesus Generation Ministries could be a blessing to any member of the Body of Christ as individuals, corporate organizations or para-church ministries in the following areas.

• Crusades and Evangelistic Services - Mass and local church evangelization.
• Discipleship Training – Upbringing of the new believers in Christ.
• Christian Workers Training – Training of Church Workers for productivity.
• Christian Leadership Training – Training the Church Leaders for effectiveness.
• Ministers Conference – Updating Ministers with God’s word and current affairs.
• School of Ministry – Local Church mobilization for service.
• Sunday School Organization – Training the teachers and establishing an effective Sunday School Department in a local Church.
• Deliverance and Miracle Service – For spiritual and general welfare of God’s people.
• Miracle Prayer Vigils – For solution to some stubborn and insoluble problems.

Any of these services can be rendered to those who need it as we receive invitations. We also have Sunday School and other Training Materials for sale for as many as may be in need of them irrespective of their Church affiliation.

Our Purpose And Objectives

INTERCESSION

To intercede regularly for heaven-sent revival that will affect her mission through sinners’ conversion and church’s spiritual awakening Hos.10:12; Ps.85:6; 110:3; Lk.24:49; Acts 11:21.

EVANGELISM

To preach the holistic Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ with demonstration of power to the uttermost part of the earth, both in public and private places, through Crusades, personal evangelism, specialized evangelism to Hospitals, Correctional Centres, Schools and Colleges, Malls and Shopping complexes etc.

MEDIA OUTREACH

To spread the Gospel by printing and circulation of Christian tracts, magazines, books and booklets; through the physical and online Newspapers, Radio, TV, YouTube and all social media on the Internet.

DISCIPLESHIP

To plant churches and make disciples for Christ based on the principles of the narrow way of self denial and holiness lifestyle taught and exemplified by Jesus Christ among the reached and unreached people groups in all nations.

RETREAT

To promote Christian conventional Programmes such as Camp-meetings, Conferences, Seminars, Training Sessions, and also to undertake all missionary and Apostolic duties and responsibilities as approved by the Scriptures.

MISSIONS

To train, equip and mobilize the saints for Christian service and missions through Bible Study, Sunday Schools, Bible School and Special Training Programmes. Also to produce Christian education and discipleship training materials for the general use of the Church-the Body of Christ.

RAPTURE AWARENESS

To be creating awareness for the Rapture and the Second Coming through special Programmes, projects and publications.
